Anxiety is a natural and often helpful response to stress or perceived threats. It is a complex emotion marked by feelings of unease, worry, or nervousness, typically about uncertain future events. Anxiety can show up both mentally and physically, ranging from mild discomfort to intense distress.

BounceBack® is a free mental health coaching program designed to assist adults and youth aged 13+ in managing low mood, mild to moderate depression, anxiety, stress, and worry. Offered online or over the phone with a coach, this program provides tools to help guide you on your journey toward mental well-being.

Anxiety can impact people of all ages, backgrounds, and lifestyles. It is a common emotion, and nearly everyone experiences some level of anxiety at different times in their lives. However, the way anxiety manifests and its severity can vary greatly from person to person.

Many people feel like anxiety can take over their lives, and coping with it is not always easy. It’s important to consult with a healthcare professional for guidance and support.

Therapy and support are essential for managing and overcoming anxiety. Effective treatments include Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Therapy, support groups, and more.
