The mandate of the Institute for Muslim Mental Health - Canada is to establish:

Centre of Excellence

The Centre of Excellence (COE) is committed to enhancing the development of programming, and services that address mental health supports and treatments, that are culturally and spiritually compatible to the needs of Muslim clients. The COE works to integrate social resources and family services that address wrap around trauma informed care to enhance resiliency and recovery. Simultaneously, the Centre works to promote counselling services that are both professional and compatible to clients, cultural and spiritual needs.
